Close the gap between the gauge and the ledger.
RETRO.RTMS replaces the spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and manual workarounds that sit between your operation and your books. From vessel nomination and blending through bonded storage, custody transfer, and invoicing, every operation runs in one audit-ready system with enforceable business rules on every transaction. Volumes are corrected to API MPMS Ch. 11.1 and ASTM D1250 by a real measurement engine, so the figure on the bill of lading is the figure in the books.
Where RTMS sits
Between the plant and the ledger.
RTMS does not replace your control systems, and it does not pretend to be your corporate ERP. It runs the operational business layer between them.
Your control systems
SCADA, DCS, tank gauges, meters — such as Honeywell, Emerson, or Yokogawa — keep measuring and controlling the plant.
RETRO.RTMS — the operational business layer
Tanks, movements and custody, quality gates, permits, maintenance, contracts, invoicing and e-invoicing, compliance records.
Your ERP & reporting
Approved results hand off downstream: GL summaries, invoices, e-invoices, and reports — into the finance system you already run.

Operational modules
Six operational areas, one connected system
Six operational areas. Eighteen modules. One system.
Tanks & Inventory
Always know what’s in every tank, and prove it.
Monitor tank levels, enforce readiness gates, and track owned, leased, and bonded stock with VCF-based volume conversions and hydrocarbon accounting.
- Six readiness gates decide whether a tank may receive or release product: status, quality hold, ATG and overfill certificates, capacity, and available inventory.
- VCF correction per API MPMS 11.1 on every volume
- Owned, leased, and bonded stock in one ledger
| Ref | Mode | Product | Qty | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MV-4471 | Vessel | Gasoil | 145,000 | Loading |
| MV-4472 | Truck | G95 | 280 | Complete |
| MV-4473 | Pipeline | Jet A-1 | 62,000 | Scheduled |

HSE, Permits & Maintenance
No work starts without the permit to back it.
Issue ePTW with gas testing and competency gates, track incidents, audits, and MOC/PSSR, and execute work orders with asset-integrity records. Alongside permits: JSA, HAZID, and HAZOP risk assessments, incident management with corrective actions, and Management of Change with pre-startup safety review.
- Permits gated by gas testing and competency
- Incidents and MOC/PSSR tracked to closure
- Work orders tied to asset-integrity records
Also in RTMS
The depth behind the six areas.
Maintenance & Reliability
A full CMMS: work orders with parts and cost capture, preventive plans, spare-parts stores, condition monitoring, and reliability analytics — integrated with permit-to-work.
Laboratory & Quality Gates
Samples, results, and certificates — with holds that block custody movements until quality releases them.
Berth Scheduling
Vessel berth calls on a visual timeline — double-bookings blocked, and an unvetted vessel refused before it ever reaches the berth.
Blending
Recipes, blend runs, and least-cost optimisation to the cheapest on-spec recipe, with completion gated on quality.
Bonded Storage & Customs
Bonded entries and customs declarations kept alongside the stock they govern.
Demurrage & Laytime
Laytime timesheets and demurrage claims, settled through to invoice.
Multi-Currency Finance
Per-document currencies with exchange-rate control and FX revaluation at period close.
Finance Back Office
Double-entry general ledger, month-end close with posting locks, accounts payable, credit and debit notes, customer statements, and bank reconciliation.
Role-Based Dashboards
Nine live dashboards, assigned per role, reading the same records the rest of the platform writes.
Procurement & Supplier Portal
Requisition to RFQ, purchase order, and goods receipt — with suppliers quoting through secure single-use links, and spares stores flagging reorder points.
Asset Integrity
API 653 inspections, seal gaps, relief-valve tests, and cathodic protection — with a certificate registry that blocks expired equipment from use.
The measurement engine
The volume on the bill of lading is the volume in the books.
Most systems treat volume correction as a lookup table. RETRO.RTMS computes it. A real API MPMS Ch. 11.1 / ASTM D1250 engine corrects every custody volume for temperature and pressure, with database-governed coefficients and a full audit trail behind every figure.
The chain
From gauge to ledger, unbroken.
A tank reading should not live in one system while the movement, contract, and invoice live in three others. RTMS keeps the chain connected — and gated.
Reading
Tank gauge or meter event captured.
Movement & custody
Vessel, truck, pipeline, or inter-tank — quality holds block what isn’t released.
Stock ledger
One custody posting updates the book.
Contract
Quantity consumed against the agreement.
Invoice
Approval fails closed unless a valid UAE e-invoice can be produced.
ERP handoff
GL summaries and documents to your finance system.
An audit trail stays attached to every step.
Integrations
Plugged into what you already run.
RETRO.RTMS is built to sit inside your existing landscape, not beside it. Every integration is scoped per project — connected to what you have, honest about what you don’t. We don’t sell a connector catalogue — we build the integrations your site actually needs, during implementation.
SCADA & Tank Gauging
Runs on manual gauging with strap tables today, and connects to your SCADA and automatic tank gauging as a scoped-per-project integration where automation is installed.
Weighbridge & Loading
Loading captured at dispatch with seals and bay records; weighbridge and direct scale integration scoped per project.
Finance & ERP
GL summaries, invoices, and documents export to your finance system, such as SAP or Oracle, by CSV, with deeper integration scoped per project.
Index-Based Pricing
Index values, such as Platts or Argus, are maintained per index and period and flow into contract pricing formulas, so market-linked contracts invoice on the applicable numbers. Automated market-data feeds are scoped per project.
Single Sign-On
Sign in with your corporate identity — Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SAML or OIDC — with roles mapped to RTMS permissions.
LIMS & Lab Quality
External lab systems connect where the project needs them — feeding the laboratory and quality-gate module RTMS already runs natively.
Reporting & File Exchange
Documents and exports — CSV and Excel in; CSV, Excel, PDF, and a general-ledger export for your ERP out. Data in and out without drama.
Deployed where you need it, single-tenant by design
Every deployment is single-tenant, so your data lives in its own dedicated instance and never a shared pool, and residency follows the deployment, including GCC and in-region hosting.
Your cloud
Deployed into your own cloud tenancy and region.
Your servers
Installed on-premises behind your own network.
Hosting, guided
Need a home for it? We help you select the host and set up the deployment. The server is yours, managed by your IT.
- Role-based access control with separation of duties and maker-checker approvals
- Full before-and-after audit trail on every change
- Encrypted passwords protected against brute-force attempts
- Fails closed when security configuration is missing
Inside the software, every deployment carries role-based access, approval workflows with maker-checker controls, and full audit trails — detailed on our Security page.

Questions, answered
What evaluators ask first
How is RETRO.RTMS deployed?
On your premises or in your cloud — we help you select and set up the hosting, and your IT manages the servers. Every deployment is single-tenant, so your data sits in its own dedicated instance, and residency follows the deployment, including GCC and in-region hosting.
Can you migrate our existing data?
Yes. Data migration is part of implementation, bringing tanks, contracts, master data, and historical records into the system.
How long does implementation take?
Typically one to two months, depending on scope, number of sites, and the volume of data to migrate.
How do you control access and protect data?
Granular role-based access control with separation of duties and maker-checker approvals, a full audit trail on every change, encrypted passwords with brute-force protection, and a system that fails closed when security configuration is missing.
Does it integrate with our ERP and instruments?
Yes — scoped per project: SCADA and tank gauging, weighbridge, your finance system, market price feeds, single sign-on, and LIMS. Where automation isn’t installed, RTMS runs on manual gauging with strap tables.
What training and support do you provide?
Training and go-live support as part of implementation, plus ongoing support and custom development.
Does RTMS replace our control system?
No. Your SCADA, DCS, tank gauges, and meters — Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, or whatever runs your plant — keep measuring and controlling it. RTMS runs the operational business layer above them, and connects to them where the project needs it.
Does RTMS replace our ERP?
It doesn’t have to. RTMS is the operational system of record; where you run SAP, Oracle, or another finance system, approved results — GL summaries, invoices, documents — hand off into it, scoped per project.
Is RTMS ready for UAE e-invoicing?
Yes. RTMS builds and validates UAE PINT-AE / UBL 2.1 e-invoices, with a fail-closed gate at approval — an invoice cannot be approved unless it produces a conformant e-invoice — and is architected for transmission through accredited service providers, with an organisation readiness panel and a controlled correction flow for rejected documents. The UAE mandate begins 30 October 2026; RETRO.RTMS is built to the PINT-AE standard so invoices are compliant from day one.
What if an integration isn’t ready at go-live?
You go live anyway. File-based exchange — CSV and Excel in, GL exports and documents out — carries the interim, and the adapter lands in a later phase without holding the system hostage.
